# Support

## Before you get in touch

Many common problems have a known answer — the "Pro plan required" error, a document missing from search, a draft that vanished, the Web Clipper losing its connection. See [03 Troubleshooting](/doc/ba04618a-7be0-4965-abe7-cfa9f686ce5c).

## Support form

## Email

Use email for anything that does not fit a form — account questions, billing, privacy and data requests, or reporting a security issue.

## What helps us help you

- **What you expected, and what happened instead.**
- **The exact error message**, if there was one.
- **Where it happened** — the web app, the iOS app, the Web Clipper, the VS Code extension, the API or an MCP client.
- **Your browser and operating system**, for anything visual or editor-related.

Please **never send us your passwords or Personal Access Tokens**. We will never ask for them. If you think a token has leaked, revoke it yourself in **Settings** — revocation is immediate. See [01 Personal Access Tokens](/doc/bdefa552-e9b6-4382-a479-91615474cf69).

One thing we genuinely cannot help with: **a lost encryption password**. Encrypted documents are decrypted only in your browser, and the password never reaches our servers — so there is nothing on our side to recover. See [01 Document Encryption](/doc/b230e154-6c58-4bfd-8a7a-c70bc7bebcd7).
